The Yeovil oak framed porch from £3,375 + delivery
The Yeovil is a green oak framed porch. It can be ordered for a dwarf wall configuration, as shown in the pictures below, or full height, to suit traditional brick or plaster infill panels. It can also be supplied as a 'lean to' design. Despite the traditional nature of the design, this porch frame also works very well on a modern property.  Please read the ADVICE NOTE below which explains how green oak is affected as it dries out.

The design of our green oak porch kits is based on traditional oak framed construction and detailing. The result is an authentic porch kit which can be fitted to a range of properties, from cottages and barns through to modern homes.

We make each porch to order and can accommodate each customer's particular requirements. Each porch kit comes complete with an assembly fitting pack and full instructions.

ADVICE NOTE
Green oak will continue to twist and split as it dries out, during this process the oak will release tannins. This process will continue until the moisture content drops to low levels. If you leave the oak untreated it will naturally silver. If you wish to retain the natural golden colour you should consider applying protective oils from leading manufacturers, all of whom have technical help lines to offer advice.
